Range Rover SV Ultra Unveiled On-Road Price,Mileage,Performance and Features

Range Rover has introduced a new flagship version called the SV Ultra. It is based on the SV trim but comes with upgraded materials and new technology inside the cabin. While the exterior design remains mostly unchanged, Land Rover has focused on improving passenger comfort and the in-car audio experience with its new Electrostatic Sound system. Let’s take a closer look.

In terms of design, the SV Ultra still looks like the premium full-size Range Rover. It has a strong road presence with a bold yet elegant appearance. Land Rover has added a new Titan Silver paint option that is exclusive to the SV Ultra.

The Titan Silver exterior is matched with Satin Platinum and Silver Chrome accents in different areas. The 23-inch alloy wheels also get Satin Platinum inserts along with Range Rover centre caps. The SUV also features special SV-specific styling details.

Under the hood, the Range Rover SV Ultra is powered by a BMW-sourced 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine that produces 537 bhp and 750 Nm torque. It comes paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and an advanced all-wheel-drive system. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and has a top speed of 261 km/h.

There will also be a P550e plug-in hybrid version. This model will use a 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine combined with a battery pack capable of delivering around 90 km of pure electric driving range on a full charge.

The biggest upgrade in the SV Ultra is its new audio system. Land Rover has equipped it with an advanced “SV Electrostatic Sound” setup that includes 21 lightweight speakers and thin-film transducers placed inside the seats, headrests, and other cabin areas.

These transducers can react up to 1000 times per second and work together with the “Body and Soul Seats” and “Sensory Floor” features.

This system not only delivers high-quality sound like a live concert experience, but it also lets passengers feel vibrations through the seats and floor using haptic feedback technology. It also offers six wellness modes that adjust the vibrations for different experiences such as Relaxation Mode and Focus Mode.

Other highlights of the Range Rover SV Ultra include an Orchid White and Cinder Grey interior theme, white ceramic finish on the dials and gear selector, illuminated SV Ultra scuff plates, quad-zone climate control, and premium Rattan Palm Wood trim inside the cabin.

The SUV also gets a 13.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 13.7-inch digital instrument cluster, and 13.1-inch rear entertainment screens.

Range Rover SV Ultra

Range Rover SV Ultra Exterior Features

The 2026 Range Rover SV Ultra introduces a far more dramatic and bespoke exterior identity compared to the standard Range Rover lineup. Every design element has been crafted to emphasize exclusivity, sophistication, and handcrafted luxury.

One of the standout highlights is the introduction of exclusive SV Ultra metallic paint options. These paint finishes are specially developed for the SV Ultra and are designed to deliver extraordinary depth, richness, and reflective quality under different lighting conditions. Unlike conventional automotive paints, these premium metallic shades use advanced pigment layering techniques that create a liquid-metal appearance.

Complementing the premium paintwork are the carefully engineered satin & gloss finishes used across the exterior detailing. Range Rover designers have blended satin chrome accents with high-gloss black and polished metallic surfaces to create a balanced luxury appearance. Satin finishes are applied to components such as lower bumper inserts, side trims, and grille elements to give the SUV a modern, refined aesthetic without excessive shine. In contrast, gloss-finished sections around the window surrounds, pillars, and select body accents add visual contrast and a richer premium feel.

At the front, the SUV receives a completely new SV grille design, developed exclusively for the Ultra variant. The grille features a more intricate geometric pattern with precision-crafted detailing that enhances airflow while also serving as a visual signature for the flagship model. The redesigned grille appears wider and more sculpted, giving the front fascia a commanding road presence.

The profile of the vehicle is dominated by massive 23-inch alloy wheels, which are among the largest ever offered on a production Range Rover. These wheels are designed not only for visual impact but also for performance and ride balance. The intricate multi-spoke wheel patterns combine lightweight engineering with premium craftsmanship, allowing the SUV to maintain stability and refinement despite its size. Available finishes may include diamond-cut silver, gloss black, satin grey, and dual-tone combinations.

Adding the final touch of exclusivity are the handcrafted ceramic SV badging elements positioned across the exterior and interior. Unlike standard metal emblems, these ceramic badges are precision-finished to provide a smoother texture, superior durability, and a more premium tactile feel. The ceramic material resists fading, scratching, and weathering far better than conventional finishes, ensuring the branding retains its luxury appearance over time.

 Range Rover SV Ultra Interior

The interior of the 2026 Range Rover SV Ultra is designed to feel like a private luxury lounge on wheels. It focuses on maximum comfort, premium materials, and a relaxing travel experience for both the driver and rear passengers.

The SUV comes with an ultra-luxury 4-seat Executive layout, which means the cabin is designed mainly for four passengers instead of the usual five. This setup gives rear passengers more personal space, wider seats, extra legroom, and a first-class travel experience similar to a private jet.

The seats are covered in semi-aniline leather, which is one of the softest and highest-quality leathers used in luxury cars. It feels smooth, rich, and comfortable while also giving the cabin a premium handcrafted appearance.

A major highlight is the SV Signature Suite, an exclusive luxury package created especially for the top-end SV models.

The rear cabin includes a refrigerated rear compartment where passengers can keep cold drinks, snacks, or refreshments while travelling. This feature is especially useful for long-distance trips and chauffeur-driven owners.

The SUV also offers power-deployable tables for rear passengers. These tables automatically open and close electronically and can be used for working on a laptop, eating meals, or placing personal items during travel.

To improve comfort further, the seats come with massage & ventilated seat functions. The massage feature helps passengers relax during long drives by gently massaging the back and lower body, while the ventilation system keeps the seats cool and comfortable in hot weather.
