Tata Curvv EV
The Tata Curvv EV is a stylish SUV-coupe with a unique sloping roof design. The new MY26 update has made the SUV more affordable, simplified the variant lineup, and now offers a single 55 kWh battery pack with a claimed driving range of 502 km.
The Curvv EV competes with the MG ZS EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, and even the Tata Nexon EV. I tested the Curvv EV in different driving conditions and even drove it from 100 percent charge down to 0 percent battery to check its real-world range and safety backup systems.
After spending a lot of time with the Curvv EV, I found many things to like about it, but there are also a few areas where it can improve.

Tata Curvv EV Exterior
The Tata Curvv EV looks very impressive in terms of design. It may not suit everyone’s taste, but it will definitely grab attention on the road. From the side, the sloping roofline and high boot design stand out immediately. Tata has balanced the proportions well, giving the Curvv a sporty SUV look without making it appear too aggressive. The large 18-inch wheels fit the design nicely, while the black cladding around the doors and wheel arches reduces the bulky look and adds a balanced appearance.
The flush door handles with illumination also add a premium touch. However, they are not very practical. They do not pop out automatically or use spring action, so opening the door takes two steps. This can feel inconvenient, especially when carrying bags or luggage. From the rear, the sloping roofline gives the Curvv a stylish and aerodynamic appearance. The connected LED tail lamps also blend well with the overall rear design.
From the front, the Curvv looks quite similar to the Tata Nexon EV, which some buyers may not like. Still, the Curvv has a premium appearance and comes with a full LED lighting setup. This includes LED DRLs with welcome and goodbye animations, LED projector headlamps, and LED fog lamps. Tata has also moved the charging port from the rear fender to the front of the car, similar to the Tata Punch EV. This makes charging more convenient and easier while parking.
Tata Curvv EV Interior
Just like the front exterior design, the interior of the Tata Curvv EV, especially the dashboard, looks very similar to the Tata Nexon EV. There is a new design pattern on the dashboard panel that matches the styling of the front bumper, which adds a nice touch. However, apart from this, most things remain unchanged.

One area where we expected Tata to improve over the Nexon was the cabin quality. Sadly, the plastic quality feels mostly the same, with many hard plastic surfaces, especially on the lower dashboard and door pads. Since the Curvv is positioned above the Nexon, the interior quality could have been better. Still, the cabin looks modern, thanks to the large 12.3-inch touchscreen placed at the center. The air conditioning controls also get a mix of touch-based and physical toggle switches, which look stylish and are easy to use.
The front seats of the Curvv are comfortable. The driver’s seat comes with 6-way power adjustment, making it easy to find a good driving position. However, because of the pedal placement, the seat needs to be adjusted slightly farther back. Also, since the steering wheel does not offer reach adjustment, it can feel a little far away for the driver.
Even though the Curvv is bigger in size, the rear seat experience is not a major improvement over the Nexon. There is more knee room, and passengers of average height will be comfortable. However, the sloping roofline still reduces headroom, making the rear seats feel slightly cramped for taller passengers, especially those above 5 feet 10 inches.
