2026 Skoda Peaq EV: Price, Range & Features Revealed

The Skoda Peaq is Skoda’s flagship electric SUV in global markets. It is the production version of the Vision 7S concept and is currently the largest vehicle ever made by Skoda.

The SUV measures 4,874 mm in length, 1,867 mm in width, and 1,664 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,965 mm. It competes with premium electric SUVs like the Kia EV9, Hyundai Ioniq 9, and Volvo EX90.

The Skoda Peaq is currently on sale in the UK, with prices starting at GBP 51,980 (approximately Rs 65 lakh before taxes and import duties). Skoda is also considering launching the Peaq in India, possibly as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) import to rival the Kia EV9.

The Skoda Peaq comes with two battery pack options: 63kWh and 91kWh. The 63kWh battery is paired with a single rear-wheel-drive (RWD) electric motor that produces 204 hp. The larger 91kWh battery is available with either a 286 hp RWD motor or a 299 hp dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup.

The 63kWh version offers a claimed WLTP driving range of up to 459 km, while the 91kWh battery version can deliver a range of up to 647 km on a single charge.

Exterior Design

The Skoda Peaq follows Skoda’s new Modern Solid design philosophy, which gives the SUV a clean, bold, and futuristic appearance. Instead of using too many sharp lines and complex styling elements, the design focuses on simplicity, strong body surfaces, and a premium look.

Unlike traditional petrol or diesel SUVs that have a large open grille, the Skoda Peaq features a closed Tech-Deck front fascia. Since electric vehicles do not need as much cooling as conventional cars, the front section is mostly sealed.

The Skoda Peaq is equipped with advanced Matrix LED headlamps that provide excellent illumination during nighttime driving. These smart headlights automatically adjust their beam pattern according to road and traffic conditions.

A sleek illuminated light bar stretches across the front of the SUV, connecting the headlights. This lighting element gives the vehicle a futuristic and high-tech appearance, especially at night.

The Skoda Peaq uses flush-fitting door handles that remain integrated into the body when not in use. These handles automatically extend outward when the vehicle is unlocked.

The SUV features a large panoramic glass roof that extends over a significant portion of the cabin. This glass roof allows more natural sunlight to enter the interior, creating a bright, spacious, and airy environment for passengers.

The Skoda Peaq has been designed with a strong focus on aerodynamics. Its smooth body lines, optimized shape, and carefully designed exterior elements help reduce wind resistance.

The Sportline variant offers a more dynamic and aggressive appearance compared to the standard model. It typically includes sporty bumpers, gloss black exterior accents, unique alloy wheels, and exclusive interior trims.

Depending on the variant, the Skoda Peaq is available with alloy wheels ranging from 19 inches to 21 inches in size. Larger wheels enhance the SUV’s visual appeal by giving it a more muscular and premium stance. They also contribute to improved handling and road grip, while specially designed aerodynamic wheel patterns help maximize electric driving efficiency.

Interior Features

The Skoda Peaq comes with a spacious seven-seat cabin designed to comfortably accommodate up to seven passengers. The cabin offers generous headroom, legroom, and shoulder room across all three rows, ensuring that passengers enjoy a comfortable journey even on long trips.

The interior uses premium sustainable materials that combine luxury with environmental responsibility. Many cabin components are made from recycled or eco-friendly materials without compromising on quality and comfort. Soft-touch surfaces, high-quality upholstery.

The Skoda Peaq features the largest panoramic roof ever offered in a Skoda vehicle. This large glass roof extends over a major portion of the cabin, allowing plenty of natural light to enter the interior. It creates a bright and spacious atmosphere for all passengers, enhances the premium feel of the cabin, and offers excellent outside views during journeys.

The SUV is equipped with a large central touchscreen infotainment system that acts as the main control hub for various vehicle functions. The display provides access to navigation, entertainment, climate controls, vehicle settings, and smartphone connectivity features.

Behind the steering wheel, the Skoda Peaq offers a fully digital driver’s display. This advanced screen replaces traditional analog instruments and provides important driving information such as speed, battery status, range, navigation instructions, and safety alerts.

The SUV features a multi-function steering wheel that allows the driver to control various functions without taking their hands off the wheel. Buttons and controls mounted on the steering wheel provide quick access to audio settings, phone calls, voice commands, cruise control, and driver assistance features.

The Skoda Peaq offers flexible seating arrangements to suit different passenger and cargo requirements. The seats can be folded, adjusted, or reconfigured in multiple ways, allowing owners to easily switch between carrying passengers and transporting luggage or larger items.

With the third-row seats folded down, the Skoda Peaq provides an impressive 935 litres of boot space in five-seat configuration.

In addition to the rear luggage compartment, the Skoda Peaq also includes a 37-litre front trunk, commonly known as a frunk. Since electric vehicles do not have a traditional engine at the front, this extra storage space can be used to store charging cables, small bags, or other everyday items.

Comfort And Convenience

The front seats can be adjusted electronically using buttons, allowing the driver and passenger to easily find a comfortable seating position.

The front seats come with ventilation to keep occupants cool and a massage function to reduce fatigue and improve comfort during long journeys.

A wireless charging pad lets you charge compatible smartphones without using charging cables, keeping the cabin neat and convenient.

This feature allows different areas of the cabin to have separate temperature settings, so passengers can choose their preferred level of comfort.

Soft interior lighting placed around the cabin creates a premium atmosphere and enhances the overall driving experience, especially at night.

The SUV is equipped with a high-quality Sonos audio system that delivers clear sound and an immersive music experience for all passengers.
