MG Comet Performance

• It is a fully electric car powered by a 41bhp motor and 110Nm torque, paired with a 17.3kWh IP67-rated battery pack. The car uses an automatic transmission and delivers a CarWale-tested driving range of around 191km on a full charge.
• The MG Comet EV can be charged from 0 to 100 per cent in about 3.5 hours using a 7.4kW charger, while the standard 3.3kW charger takes around seven hours for a full charge.
• The car remains very quiet while driving, and the electric motor can only be heard when you press the accelerator. Power delivery is smooth and predictable, making city driving comfortable and stress-free.
• Thanks to its compact size, the Comet EV is very easy to drive through traffic and can fit into tight parking spaces without much effort, making it ideal for crowded city roads.
• It comes with three driving modes — Eco, Normal, and Sport. Even in Eco mode, the car offers enough power for regular daily driving and city commutes.
• The Comet EV takes around 19.97 seconds to reach 0-100kmph, while 0-60kmph comes up in just 6.98 seconds, which is quick enough to move ahead easily in city traffic.
• The braking system feels smooth and predictable, offering good confidence to the driver. It also gets a hill-hold feature, which is very useful when stopping or starting the car on slopes.
• The suspension setup absorbs bumps and rough patches well at city speeds, providing a comfortable ride. The steering feels light while driving slowly and becomes slightly heavier at higher speeds for better control.

• The car gets dual 10.25-inch displays, where one screen works as the touchscreen infotainment system and the other functions as a fully digital instrument cluster. These large screens give the dashboard a modern look and display important driving information clearly.
• The infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, allowing users to connect their smartphones without using cables. This makes it easy to access navigation, music, calls, and apps directly through the touchscreen.

• The fully digital instrument cluster displays important details such as speed, battery level, driving range, and driving mode in a simple and easy-to-read format.

MG Comet Safety Features

• The car is equipped with dual airbags for the driver and front passenger. These airbags provide added protection during a collision and help reduce the risk of injury in case of an accident.
• It also gets ABS  with EBD . This system helps prevent the wheels from locking during sudden braking and distributes braking force properly between all wheels, improving control and stability.
